I used to love cats then I came to hate them… my favourite kitten died..(my only friend….) so I tried to distance myself from all cats…. until I realised that I love cats too much.. so every Christmas I asked for a kitten. I asked for 11-12 years… and I’ve recently got a kitten. He’s the most adorable kitten ever.
We were gonna have a stray as well.. a newborn stray…. but the kitten got found in a car engine… bleeding… so my mum and her group took the kitten to a vet.. now one of her friends has the kitten.
But the kitten I have looks like the kitten who died…. I almost named him the same name… (Ziggy..) but I thought… this kitten is different… he represents something else. I stared into his eyes… and the word “Shadow” came to me. So yes you guessed it! He’s a black kitten called Shadow.
I just love cats too much!!!!!

about 5 years ago I was putting up a greenhouse in our back garden, it was a real hot day when suddenly a small black kitten came walking through. it looked starving and too young to be away from mum. I got some water, tried it with some small bits of chicken breast, which were for my lunch the next day at work. this little cat didn't leave my side for ages and had to make a bed with my jacket. that same night, myself and my partner decided to have our dinner upstairs watching bit of TV etc. we live in a former bungalow and in thru the bedroom window comes this little black cat! oh this is the cat I was telling you about earlier I said. so she jumps up onto the bed rolls over and starts purring, which we both thought was highly amusing. we decided to let her stay, but didn't realise until a good week had passed and she was gaining quite a bit of weight that she was carrying kittens herself. anyway, she had 6 gorgeous black kittens which we got good homes for but couldn't let the smallest of the 4 boys go so kept him too. named him Tyson cos was relentless in his play fights with his new family and would never give in. Sooty, his mum has run of the house at night and in/out of bedroom window when it suits, Tyson has to be in for 10.00 for bed and sleeps with us, using our legs, arms, and heads as his pillow. also been feeding a lovely stray ginger tom cat who was turfed out by some scumbag neighbour, I've just about tamed him now after couple of years and plenty of cuts and bite marks but he is such a loving cat now. they all know when its feed time and have beds all over the house, love them to bits and thanks for reading
The 5th fact about cats is wrong. I don’t know where you got the idea that black cats means good luck in the uk but that simply isn’t true. I don’t really follow many superstitions but I know for a fact it is not what some in the uk believe (trust me I live here). Ive never heard it about white cats either. I didn’t even know that was a thing.

I have observed my cat HEru Ryu talking to another cat through growls and loud meows. So I'm not entirely convinced that cats only meow for humans.
