#top2017
Today we look at the most Iconic songs of the 70’s
I did WEEKS of research looking at a bunch of different countdowns and charts to get the Top 100 Most Iconic Songs of All-Time and then one for every decade from the 1960’s-2010’s. All of these rankings were done to the best of my ability and I think do a great job of covering ever decades most iconic songs.
Hope everyone enjoys this and if they have any questions of comments about the rankings please feel free to respectfully leave it in the comments.

You missed a LOT of 70's iconic songs. Mother and Child Reunion by Paul Simon, pretty much anything from Cher, Bread, Gordon Lightfoot, Neil Diamond, Chi-lites, Stylistics, Horse With No Name by America and only 1 ABBA song???? Really???? Over 380 million record sales, one Broadway play that lasted over 17 years and 2 movies from one song, Mama Mia??????

No Joan Baez?
Well, Mark you tried hard, but you missed, I fear. Yes, all those songs were played and popular, but you completely went blind to your charts (from where, I wonder?) and as others have commented, where are acts like T-Rex (Marc Bolan) ~ "Bang a Gong", Yes ~ "Roundabout" and tracks from "Dark Side of The Moon" by Pink Floyd ~ say "Time"? No "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin?! These examples were iconic to say the least. There are many, many more. Paying such attention to Top 10s is very misleading if you weren't there. For example, there was a large 'Disco Sucks' movement. Not to say the disco you chose was incorrect, because it was, but TWO Andy Gibb songs? Hmm…
k survived the 70's hair and clothes. got laid? Um. no one could… And music. There's many good ones, just not too many here.
Where was KISS?
Not one song from The Who or Alice Cooper? Baba O Reily? Schools Out? I'm Eighteen? That's just wrong.

Big time copyright infringement. How do you get away w/ it? You must have written permission to play these songs which isn't accurate.
What happened to "Rhiannon"? Nothing by Eric Carmen? I enjoyed the video, but it's purely subjective.
