this is the worst propaganda thing I've seen…..ever…..what bull crap……
Millennials are the most "educated" yet the most ignorant.
Can't put a label on all of us. I among others prefer to balance work/university, still talk over the phone (to hell with text messaging!) and maintain a fair amount of privacy. Working from home takes a certain skill/occupation to pull off successfully, not counting being a YouTube partner. As for the promiscuity thing, ahhh… sure seems like the younger crowds are f*cking around more than older folk who are likely burnt out/unhappy and no one wants to hear that anyway. >.<
We're just like any group of people, a few winners and a whole lot of losers who simply aren't going anywhere.
Participation Award Generation.
Low marriage rates? Are you kidding?! Ever since I've gotten out of high school everyone of my classmates has been marrying left and right and having kids and there own houses. Also while normally I'm the type of guy that sees both points of view before I judge I will say yes to the fact that this is a me me me generation.
Lamest excuse for dirty thumbnail ever.
So… I'm well above my 30's, and still being considered a millennial? OK… Fuck this…
Can we please call them something less retarded than baby boomers?
Why are media outlets saying we are the most educated generation when our generation can't even answer questions about history or struggle with math?
watching this video has made me slighty less ashamed of being a millennial.

All of those myths are actually facts, you need to rename your list
My favorite part about these comments is the how serious millennials take education because that seems to go hand in hand with things a lot of people seem to hate:
1) People hating millennials for fighting for social justice (why does social justice annoy people?)
2) People calling this video propaganda as if all forms of media aren't propaganda.
3) People believing millennials think everything is racist/sexist. We don't, but we clearly understand how isms of discrimination work on deeper levels than just having to use the n-word or calling someone a cunt.
4) People say millennials don't like facts. We love data, but we love data used correctly not just tossing numbers and not understanding what those numbers actually mean.
5) Understanding and elaborating on concepts come with education (well a good education) and that's where you get all these SJWs that you all seem to hate so much.
Can't these Girls in the Thumbnail just send Nudes? >:○
It's not a myth that they are retarded…
Okay I was born in 82 and all through high school even college my generation was called Generation X or GenX for short by the way I went to college in the early 2000's. So when did GenX become "the millennials". because as far as my friends family and I are concerned mine is STILL GenX!
gen X
How can you blame us for still living with our parents? Have you seen the house prices?! Im pretty much going to be renting for the rest of my life.
Generations usually span from 18-20 years. Those in here saying that
millennial generation stops at 1995 are wrong. If we go with that line
of thinking, generations x and y or both too short… less than what is
typically considered a 20- year threshold that sets each generation
apart. Which is why we are left wondering why we can never reach a
widely agree-upon age range.
Baby Boomer Generation ~ 1946 — 1964 (18 years)
Generation X ~ 1965 — 1982-3 ( roughly 18 years)
Millennial Generation ~ 1982 — 2000 (18 years)
Generation Z ~ 2000 — to now
They're just trying to keep us confused and at each other's throats about when were
You can generalise
Sex has become more casual
They've become addicted to social media
An increase in introverts and decrease in extraverts
Sorry, Millennials are entitled punks. It's not a myth. I know from first-hand experience. And they also tend to expect to get more than they're worth out of the workplace because they've been told they're superstars all their lives. So, they don't want to do the legwork, become frustrated and embittered when they don't get the best positions in a short amount of time, and quit. And lord have mercy are they a boatload of quitters.
The previous generations fucked everything up and all the fingers get pointed at us. We're the scapegoat and it's fucking disgusting.
Just because I'm a 90's kid. I'm the worse generation? Fuuuuck that. I'm doing pretty damn good for myself lol and I don't think I'm untitled anything lol.
ree death to millenials
but all these things are actually true.
i think this comment section is world war lll
I´m a Millenial, and I hate my own generation
a diferent voice actor thank god that girl made me wanna kms
Here comes the "I was born in the wrong generation" faggots
this is all wrong. Pretty sure that they are entitled little bitches
So there is a lot to be said about this, and I mean a lot. I was born in 85, raised by a single parent who taught me the values and meanings of hard work, loyalty, strength and leadership. I was also taught tolerance, love, acceptance, and forgiveness while standing up for my self, my country and others. In my short 32 years on earth I have noticed everyone wants to believe or another side, never look at the full spectrum and blame someone for everything.
Millennial's do have a UN-justified sense of entitlement. I work with a few who have been doing what im doing for 1/10 of the time I have been and demand higher pay, refuse to work the required o/c shifts, feel they should be promoted with in weeks. Now im not saying everyone is like this and its not just the Millennial's with this thought process. I was once like this and I learned my lesson and grew up. What it really boils down to is not the generation of now but the generation of yesterday. People with this train of thought where they are owed everything are generally spoiled. I was spoiled early on by grandparents but when that came to a stop I had to learn. So re-cap on this subject is yes, entitled millennials are a thing, but its the generations before them that made it happen. Stop making excuses for them, stop carrying them and make them earn and burn in this world. Everyone is so medicated, so many mental excuses, so many bull shit reasons for younger generations to act this way. It pisses me off. I have social anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, and yet I work full time, married, children and a social life because no one made excuses for me. I learned to adapt and I became the person I am today.
So many people want to live off the government and collect and scream they are owed for one reason or another. This single train of thought is whats destroying our economic resources. Now Millennial's walked into a shitty everything and dealt shit hands from day one, but instead of trying to get a new hand they claimed the world is at fault and made things worse by demanding free shit.
Millennial's are not more sexually active but are more open about it and more stupid. Less protection, there are more STD's and people just seem to not care. Being a teen parent or pregnant from a one night stand is the in thing for some reason. Some where we have lost the connection of what the responsibilities are for being a parent. Now im not saying teen parents are irresponsible, because many are not. But that teen mom who's baby daddy ran off now has to work 2 jobs, collect off the state and some how finish school. Its not good for any one. I guess i just wish people took responsibilities for the actions and reactions. jane doe gets knocked up, has little johnny lee and his daddy is a bitch and ran. Now jane doe has to work more then she should of, or even worse yet doesnt work and lives off the state and her parents are now grandparents who are forced to pick up the pieces and raise johnny lee while mommy dearest is engulfed in the heroine epidemic but she wont take responsibility for it. Its not her fault, we made excuses for her. The circle of shit doesnt change until some one steps out of the box and changes it.
There are a lot more arguments I can make, but the basic shit stain of my point is Milennials are the way they are because we made them that way. I may seem heartless or cruel or like I dont give a shit, but the truth is teaching people they are entitled to everything they want at no cost and to be pussy's is not going to fix shit. The generations before the Millennial's fucked everything up, now the Millennial's need to step up and fix it.
P.S. Participation trophies are a fucking joke. teaches you that being lazy is rewarded.
I'm really sick of the millennial bashing.
Hmmm… A couple of things:
First, you started off really strong saying the Millennial generation is so vastly different that you cannot paint them all with one large brush, but then you go on to contradict yourself by doing just that, painting the entire generation with one large brush, just flipping the "No, they aren't all like this," to "They're actually all like this instead." The weird thing about cultural stereotypes is that they're usually a form of exaggerated truth, but still arise from a common cultural truth of some kind.
This is an anthropological observation:
Historically, the Romans were the first people to use the word "Teenager." The adult community came up with and used this term to categorize and describe the younger generations that they had nothing in common with. Rome grew fast and with each generation the youth grew up in a more civilized and technologically advanced society than the previous one, creating a culture of generational separation. The same thing has continued to occur throughout history, where societies develop quickly between generations, and leaves a huge gap in experiences and understanding between them.
Sigmund Freud points out that:
Psychologically, and subconsciously the older generation perceives the younger generation of having a life better than when they were children, and therefore harbor a small amount of jealousy. Not enough to cause alarm, just enough to be irritated and talk a little shit. Universally, EVERY generation, in developing countries, is the ME ME ME Generation. It's actually a sign of progress when you look at it through this scope.
Millenials are brainwashed by the media such as Buzzfeed and mainstream media.
Im more worried about generation x, because they have all the nukes. I am not really concerned with stupid protest and bitching about society (which they do lets be honest). But eventually I think these kids will grow up and be productive members of society. When the real world knocks at your door, you have to answer it.
Sense of entitlement? Have you tried telling an old lady her coupon is years past due?
They're stupid…millennials
anyone else felt like disliking the video before watching it?
Sorry watchmojo… being a part of this generation I can say you're wrong but… you're also right about some things.
is he dangerdolan voice over?
Hold the freaking phone. Isn't internet-dependence (2) a stereotypical myth ascribed to Generation Z, the group succeeding millennials?
Each generation sees themselves as more intelligent than the last, and wiser than the next
